IMMERSIVE SOUND DESIGN/ HOLOPLOT TECHNOLOGY

Polestar Holoplot achieved the world’s first live simultaneous translation at Auto Shanghai. Working closely with Polestar and partner Creative Technology, Holoplot created a customised X1 system design to meet the client’s ambitious requirements: - Achieving live simultaneous translation between English and Mandarin Chinese without the need for headphones or any other aid, solely relying on the audio from the sound system.

As a Swedish brand, Polestar aimed to maintain a clean and minimalist Scandinavian design for the visual and audio experience of the display. The focus was on providing a comfortable, distraction-free experience for the audience to ensure maximum engagement.

By eliminating the need for wearable devices, visitors had a newfound freedom to explore the display and learn about Polestar’s new products.
